EMBER BISHOP BENTLEY

Middle Georgia State University - Chief of Staff & Government Affairs Officer

At Middle Georgia State, the chief of staff and government relations officer serves as a key member of the president’s leadership team and reports directly to him. Bentley works closely with Blake and University System of Georgia staff to review proposed policy initiatives and legislation and advocates for Middle Georgia State and the USG to lawmakers. Bentley serves as the lead staff member in the president’s office and is the primary liaison for the University to help develop partnerships with state and federal government entities, participate in institutional planning and problem-solving, and coordinating regular and special projects on behalf of the president, frequently involving senior officers of the University.

Professional Certifications, Designations – Bentley sits on the boards of the Georgia Forestry Commission, Atlanta Sister Cities Commission, Eisenhower Business Improvement District, NewTown Macon, and serves as a Navicent Ambassador.

Organizations, Clubs, Associations – Member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Rural Prosperity Council and the Protocol and Diplomacy International Protocol Officers Association. Bentley is a graduate of Leadership Georgia, Protocol Partners, and the Georgia Academy for Economic Development. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Shorter College.

JAIME ARNOLD

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jaime Arnold has been the Executive Director of the Eisenhower Business Improvement District since it began.

Jaime has been a member of the Macon community since 2000, with the exception of three years in Atlanta. While in Atlanta, she was able to witness the Beltline Project in Inman Park and saw firsthand the transformation an area can experience with the support of its community members and leaders.

In Jaime’s words, “I am proud to be the Executive Director of a group of property owners dedicated to taking the necessary steps to improve the area for their neighborhoods and the entire community.”

Jaime is married to Bill Arnold, and they have one son, Will.
